1. Her Birthday
2. Christmas
3. Halloween
4. Going to St. George
5. Terrace Day Parade and Boom-Booms
Really. We talk about it ALL. YEAR. LONG. Well, today was the day. So exciting! It really is the best little parade ever (in my opinion). No crowds to fight, no having to find a parking space a mile away and walk to find a spot or going the night before to reserve a space, no elbowing other children to get to the candy. We literally walk down our street, find a nice patch of grass on the side of the road, and let the candy come pouring in. We get more candy than on Halloween, by far. It has all the essentials: Fire trucks, one guy on a horse, the ladies in the purple clothing, the little guy in the mini car, marching bands, cheerleaders...all you could want in a parade. Plus the Monster Truck at the end for an added bonus. The only thing missing this year was Jolley Plumbing throwing toilet paper rolls. Hello? Kristen? Are you out there?!
So the only downfall of the year was the less than lovely, rainy, blowing weather that put a damper on Terrace Days and caused the fireworks to be canceled. Bah! When will this weather end?! Here are some photos of the day, taken with a new lens. I need a lot of practice with it, if only the weather would start cooperating!

.
Normally my siblings/nieces/nephews join in on the festivities...not this year...just us and my mom.

Sophie couldn't believe her eyes, bucket-loads of candy being thrown at her! Being able to go out in the street! A lot better then last year when she couldn't walk and was stuck in a chair.

Quelle est belle ma tantine!!!
I would have been there, but I was serving my community.
It looks like the new lens is a keeper. Plus, the girl attached to the other end!
Hey, we were there. Quentin was on the L51 Washington Terrace Firetruck with his Uncle Andrew. Yeah the rain ruined our day at the park!!!
Looks like it was tons of fun and you and Rich look so cute on your little anniversary pic. Happy days
