Our 4th
Morning of the 4th Lilia went with my parents to the Farr West Parade/Cherry Days while the rest of us stayed home and worked outside in the yard/cleaned the garage/cars. The real party started that night with a yummy BBQ (decorations and festive flag fruit pizza were involved but you'll have to take my word for it - there was no time for pictures), sparklers and pops, croquet, beach ball mayhem, and the night ending with Rich's fabulous firework show in front of our house. The best part of the night was Hazel oohing and ahhhing over the firework show. She would clap her hands enthusiastically after each one. It's so amazing to see life through the eyes of someone who is experiencing things for the first time. We finished off the night on the back deck watching all our neighborhoods' new legal fireworks. It was quite a show!

Soph looks so cute in this picture...I kind of want to steal her!
Sounds like your celebrations were pretty extensive. Maybe you just should invite us on over next year...especially if that cookie pizza is involved again.
