We also started a new Reeve family tradition (that actually replaced our old Progressive Dinner) of bowling and pizza with all of our cousins. We had a great time - Rich got an all time high score, and I got an all time low score (even with the bumpers)!
We celebrated Christmas with my side of the family on Christmas Eve Eve. We ate yummy food, had a talent show, and exchanged gifts and treats. We spent our actual Christmas Eve getting ready for Christmas, relaxing, and going to see "Arthur's Christmas" which we really liked. The girls got to open up their new PJs, and we read the Nativity from the scriptures.
Christmas morning: To the relief of the girls: Santa came! All the preparation, time, and money spent on Christmas suddenly becomes worth it - look at those excited faces!!

Going to church after our fun morning and before the party at Grandma and Grandpa Reeve's house. Hazel is pretty excited about her Pez dispenser.

Rich takes the week off between Christmas and New Years and it is our favorite week of the entire year. We relax, play with our toys, watch new movies, eat yummy food, and spend entire days in our PJs. Yes, entire days, I am not afraid to admit that.
One of our favorite gifts from Santa - a play vanity with hair and makeup accessories. The girls have been doing hair and putting makeup on anything and anybody they can get their hands on.

Hazel peeking out of her new tent.

One of our favorite post-Christmas traditions, Rich taking the girls on "dates" to see movies. Just him and her. This year he got to see another Chipmunk movie two days in a row. I'm sad that I didn't get a picture with him and Sophie this year but what can you do??
We've had a great year and we are excited to see what the new year brings!

Thanks for the wonderful update! What fun you've had the last couple of months. You are definately more courageous than me as far as taking your family out and about. Your trip to St. George looks like it was so much fun, wish I could have it together enough to go on a little trip.
Fun times! Nutcracker it is!
what a fun time!! the holidays are always so much fun with kiddos--i could die over hazel and her little bun--to cute!
