Sophie's Birthday Brunch

Our little Sophie turned 6 years old on January 5th.   Today we celebrated her birthday with 6 of her friends.  When I asked Sophie what she wanted to do for her birthday she told me that she wanted to wear her pajamas.  So, we went with that and decided to have a Birthday Brunch.

We started off the party with the food.  Muffins, pancakes, doughnuts, and fruit.

The kids were so well behaved.  They ate, shared stories, and laughed at jokes.   It was fun to see them interacting like little adults.

After we ate, each child decorated their own pillow case with fabric paints and markers.

Next we played games:  Musical Pillows, Pillow Case Races, and Charades

These birthday games are so simple - the classics - but the kids still LOVE them.

This picture was when they won the Pillow Case Race - pretty excited.

Presents were opened, Happy Birthday was sung, and friends were sent home with a little thank you gift:  bowl, spoon, cereal, and milk.  It was a fun birthday for little Sophie.
