Marching To The Beat Of Our Own Drum

For the second year in the row, we participated in the BHS Cheerleading Clinic.  Go Lakers!  This year, Sophie was brave enough to join in on the fun.  Both girls really loved it.  Last year Lili was so nervous and I don't think she even cracked a smile.  This year she was smiling, remembered her dance and could keep up pretty well, and she even tried her luck at a toe touch during the "rallying" after the cheer.  It was awesome/hilarious.

Here are some shots from the big half time performance - time to play a little game of "Where's Sophie?"

Looking back, in most of the pictures Sophie is not doing what the other girls are doing.  More of an artistic interpretation of the dance/cheer.  She also seems pretty distracted by the crowd.  I don't blame her, there were some pretty scary teenagers out there.

Lilia's turn.  Every once in a while she'd get a little behind on her moves, but overall she gets the "Most Improved" award from last year.

After the performance sisterly love.

I eagerly anticipate the day that Blair can be involved in group performances such as this. Hilarious.
