I'm not a skier. I've been twice. Both times in Junior High with my P.E. class. I never got passed the bunny hill, and never even got close to mastering that. In fact, I couldn't even get off the lift without falling and having to have my ski instructor drag me out of the way or stop the lift. Every single time. Rich, on the other hand, has been skiing since he was a child. It's something he wants to share with the kids, so while we were up in Bear Lake he took Lilia and Sophie to Beaver Mountain to give it a whirl.

According to Rich, Lilia did great, after not very long she was going down the kiddie hill by herself. Sophie did ok, but got tired really fast and was frustrated a lot - It's hard work lugging around those heavy skis. Rich got the workout of his life, snowplowing, having to pick up and manually move the little people, helping them up, strapping them in, and trying to teach them what to do. But he loved it and has got the skiing "bug" and has been begging me to let him go again ever since.

{Taking a picture of the kids on the stairs. It's a Reeve family tradition}
The kids just had fun going up and down the stairs, sleeping in the bunk beds, drawing pictures on the coffee filters, and eating oodles of snacks. It doesn't get much better than that!

What a fun vacation. I'm impressed that Rich took the girls skiing by himself. Nothing like going down the bunny hill, over and over and over again. I'd always get stuck on Beaver Mountain's bunny hill and have to have someone pull me.
what fun extravaganza! and kudos to the hubs for taking the gals skiing! and your babes on the stairs? priceless---gorgeous photos-!
You have such a beautiful family..it's hard not to be jealous!
Cute cute cute!
Well maybe with this much practice, your girls will be sporty...instead of going on an occasional hike, taking tons of photos, and pretending to be sporty. Not that I've ever heard of such an incident.
