The girls loved Disneyland. Last time we went to Disney World Lili was really excited about the Princesses. This time, not so much. I feel like she is on the edge of believing that they are real and not knowing if it is just someone in a costume. She didn't want much to do with any kind of character but would watch them from afar. Sophie on the other hand, was super excited to see everyone. She got to meet her favorite princess - Princess Tiana (Princess and the Frog), and before she went over to meet her she picked a flower and gave it to her. So sweet.
Hazel was so fun. We seriously considered not bringing her (we drove and she is not a fan of the car) but are so glad we did. She was really good, excited to see everything, and got scared on rides so she was extra snugly (who doesn't love a sweet smelling baby to snuggle up to?)
My favorite memory was riding on "It's a Small World" and watching my three little girls pointing excitedly at everything with big eyes. I love this age...everything is so special and magical and they are so innocent...I want it to last forever.
It was our first time going to Legoland and we really liked it. It was within walking distance from our condo and is a great park for kids Lili's age (a lot of rides she can go on). Also, there were less crowds to fight (bonus!) and they have some pretty incredible Lego sculptures too.
One day we just headed down to San Diego and went to breakfast and to see the seals at the children's beach. It was a good break from all the parks and although it was too cold to swim at the beach, the kids had fun splashing in the waves.
