A few things about Hazel:
Hazel is a very happy and easy baby. She has the sweetest little jibber jabber voice and is constantly pointing, gasping and saying "what's that?" (sounds like wzdat), she loves dogs and does a pretty good dog bark when she sees one (actually any kind of animal is a dog at this point so she does it a lot). She is a mover! She has mastered walking and is now running wherever she goes. She is climbing everywhere - inside cupboards, on the dishwasher, and on step-stools - and as a result, has frequent bumps and bruises from tumbling off of things.
Hazel and her fluffy head makes everyone in our family happy. She is always smiling and laughing or doing something funny that makes us laugh. She has learned at a young age to stick up for herself and let her opinion be known (when big sister's try to take what's hers)....but she loves her sister's very much.

Stuffed animals, her papa, being held, milk, yogurt, bedtime songs, peek-a-boo, dogs, chasing games, birthday cake (see below), her sisters, getting in cupboards and scattering random things everywhere.
Hazel doesn't like...
Wearing shoes, being told "no", riding in the car, baby food peas, and being left alone.
Here's some photos from her first birthday cake experience...

Not so sure about this...

Giving it a try...not wanting to get hands dirty

Got to love a cake mustache

Wondering when someone was going to tell her "No!" and take it away...

Hazel + Cake = Love

Done eating, time to to a little sensory exploration.
