Stay-cation

This last week Rich decided to take off the whole week from work and do fun summer activities as a family.  We spent a lot of time crossing off our summer to do list.  Including:  Going to the splash pad, The Dinosaur Park, dinner at the Oaks, making fresh fruit shakes, running through the sprinklers, bike rides, working on the house/yard, drive-in movie, date nights, riding the gondola at Snowbasin, roasting hot dogs and making yummy s'mores.

Here are some of our pictures from our "Mountain Day".  We've ridden the Gondola up to Snowbasin before when Lili was little but hadn't been back since.  It was such a hot sunny day that we were pleasantly surprised when we got up there...

To see all the snow!  A fun escape from summer for the afternoon - although the snow did ruin our hiking plans.

These faces say it all.  The girls LOVED it, but were a little worried at first.

Snow ball fights in July?  Only in Utah...

Back home for hotdogs, s'mores, and scary ghost stories.

Snow in July. Yikes x 4. Oh well, makes for some good memories, eh?

Such a sweet little family "trip".

Interesting to see that Miss Winnie made her way onto a chair...

We had the same experience...went for a hike, ended up with a snowball fight instead and have the same picture (different kids) on the rock ;)
