Today, at 5 years old, Sophie is a character. She makes us, and everyone she is around, very happy with her laid back, silly, outgoing personality. She is a chatter box with most sentences starting with "Guess what?" and ending with "Wouldn't dat be funny?" She giggles about boys kissing girls, loves to playfully tease people, and is very easy to reason with. She can be feisty, and is often heard saying "You not my fwend anymow!" She is our techie. If you can't find her she is probably on the computer, watching TV or playing the Wii. She also loves to play "dogs" and pretend she is a dog, dress up as a police officer, and build forts. She loves Winnie (our dog) and loves her baby brother Jack. She's always talking baby talk to him and calling him "Jackimus". Sophie is very patient with Hazel and rarely gets mad at her.
For Sophie's birthday we started the day with her breakfast doughnut, and then opened presents. She got some clothes for her AG doll, a fish tank, an outfit, and a glowing wand from Lili. She spent most of the day playing at her friend Sydney's house, and at night she got to go on a special date with Rich and I to a restaurant of her choice, the Olive Garden. Actually she wanted to go to McDonalds or Village Inn and we really had to talk her out of that. She said, "Fine! But if they don't have cwayons at that westawant then we awe going to go somewhewe else!" Fiesty little thing. We were in luck, they had crayons.
On Saturday we will celebrate again, with a "Spy" friend party. Should be interesting. :) We love LOVE LOVE our Sophie and we are so glad she is in our family!!

"You are not my best friend anymore!" comes out of Farrah's mouth quite regularly. Good thing I know she's just all talk ha, ha. Love this post and the photos too of course!
